Eligibility: All participants must be current USATT or ITTF affiliate members.
Unrated entrants will have their initial rating estimated for seeding purposes
by the tournament committee. If you have recently purchased a membership
but have not received a membership card, you must show proof that you
have renewed.

Entry Deadline: March 5, 2009 This format is limited to the first
36 paid entrants on Saturday and to the first 25 paid entrants on Sunday.
Refunds to those canceling before the deadline. If either day has fewer than 16 players,
the event will be cancelled and all moneys refunded. When the allowed number of entries
is exceeded, those in excess will be notified. If you don't hear from us, you are
registered. (Click on "previous page" then click on "Participant list" your name should be there)
Check In: All players MUST check in at the control desk prior to 10:15 a.m. on Sat.
(12:15 a.m. on Sun) to guarantee their participation. If there are people waiting to play,
and you are not checked in by that time, you will be replaced and given a full
refund. If there is no one to replace you, there will be no refund.
Play starts promptly as noted below.
Format: The tournament will be two rounds. Both rounds are round-robin format.
Scores will be recorded and results sent to USATT for each match. Each table
will have a maximum of six players on Saturday and five on Sunday. Round One
will have the top six players on Saturday and the top five players on Sunday,
by rating, seeded; each group of six (or five) in descending rating will be
assigned to tables by lot. Round Two will group all players finishing 1st,
all players finishing 2nd, etc. Seriatim will be established by won/loss record
in matches. Two way ties will be broken by head-to-head results; multiple-way
ties will be broken by the tournament committee using in order: matches won/lost
ratio, games won/lost ratio, points won/lost ratio, rating differentials or by
lot between the tied players.

Equipment: Only USATT approved equipment will be allowed. Stiga tables, nets
and 40 mm orange Nittaku 3 Star balls will be provided for play.
The floor is wood.
Clothing: The USATT dress code will govern.
Rules: A match will be 3 out of 5 games, 11 points. All USATT regulations apply.
Decisions of the tournament committee are final. Play will be on assigned
tables only. Warm-up play is limited to 2 minutes.
Second Round Awards: Cash prizes for 1st and 2nd in Group A. Amount depending
on number of participants. Awards for 1st and 2nd in Groups B through F.
Separate awards each day.
Schedule:
Round One Start 10:15 AM Round Two Start about 3:00 PM. Finish about 7 PM Saturday.
Round One Start 12:15 PM Round Two Start about 3:00 PM. Finish about 6 PM Sunday.
